I have tried quite a few so far and as a result went through series of installing and uninstalling various versions of Visual Studio and Intel Parallel Studio XE with the hope that one combination will work eventually.
In brief, I have come across many ‘genuine’ guides on the internet as well as Youtube videos. It has been a very hectic and frustrating week in trying to link Fortran compiler to Abaqus. Thank you for all the links to assist on the matter.
